Arrival & Spa Attire
Please allow at least 20 minutes prior to your first appointment to check in, fill out a medical history form and change before beginning your relaxing wellness & spa experience.
Solarice respects our guests' need for timeliness. Should you arrive late, your treatment will be modified to maximize the remaining time. All of our therapists and technicians are professionally trained in discreet linen draping techniques to ensure your comfort and ease at all times. Most of our body treatments are performed without clothing, but please feel free to bring a bathing suit. Showers are available at our Vancouvr location. Indivudual aromatherapy steams can be purchased as an add-on treatment in our Gateway location. We suggest that you leave jewelry and other personal items of value at home or in your guestrooms safe.
Tranquility
We strongly recommend that you escape during your treatments and engage in a meditative state. Please do not feel as if you have to talk. Our practitioners will respect your need for silence. If you do have questions or comments, they are happy to oblige.
Gratuities
Gratuities are at the discretion of the guest. Generally, gratuities in the resort spa industry are given at 10 - 20%, similar to the restaurant industry. For groups of 10 or more people, a 15% service charge will be applied.
Wellness & Spa Services for All Ages
Solarice offers services to everyone including young children. However guests under the age of 18 must have their treatment medical history forms co-signed by an adult guardian.
Reservations & Cancellations
To guarantee your preferred treatment choice and time, it is recommended that you reserve your spa experience at least one week in advance. Of course, walk-ins and last minute appointments are always welcome, depending on availability. A credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, we require 24 hours’ notice for single spa services, 48 hours’ for multiple spa services and packages, and 7 days’ notice for the cancellation of group packages. Cancellations with less than the required notice or no-shows will be charged in full.
