Solarice Wellness Spas Holiday Clothing Drive for
Covenant House - 2008
Thanks to the very generous donations of our clients and community members we were able to collect an entire truck load of donations this past holiday season for our community’s homeless youth. Covenant House requested warm winter clothing, bedding and sleeping bags for street kids this year, and along with cash donations we were able to oblige due to an outstanding turnout at our 2008’s Solarice Wellness Spas Holiday Clothing Drive for Covenant House. Our staff provided hundreds of free mini treatments in our new Express Lounge in exchange for Covenant House donations. We thank our staff for such enthusiastic participation & thank all who came down to bring needed items or cash for the street youth served by Covenant House!
Terry Fox Run
Thanks to our fantastic staff in Whistler & Vancouver who gave their time to run and walk for Team Solarice in the Terry Fox run 2008. We loved the chance to get outside & to have fun with our friends & colleagues while raising funds and awareness for this great cause. So far $400 million has been raised worldwide since the Terry Fox run began in 1981. Watch out for Team Solarice ripping up the trails to raise more funds for cancer research again this fall on September 13, 2009!
